The DownStairs PressLetterpresss – Books & BroadsidesPhotos provided by Jack Mader. I Wish I Would Have Known15 x 7 inches • 10 unnumbered copies. Hand set in Goudy Hand Tooled metal type. Image silk-screen printed on Rives BFK paper. $40. This broadside was conceived and printed at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in a silk screen class during my sabbatical year. The text by Wm. T. Riley was fresh in my mind because he had a show running at the Walker Art Center at the time I received this assignment. I wrote to him asking permission to use the text and he send back a kind note granting use. He even requested that I send him a copy of the work. |
